Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Night Shift Palletizer Operator in Florence, Alabama. The role involves loading tile, boxing, and palletizing for shipment on a 2pm–10pm shift, Monday–Friday.

Requires a high school diploma and 3 years of manufacturing experience, with ability to operate powered industrial trucks (Dal-Tile certified). Compensation is $18.32 per hour plus a $0.20 night differential, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3 years manufacturing/production experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• The palletizer removes tile from automatic off bearer, boxes and palletizes for shipment.
• Picks up tile off of bearer or selector and places onto conveyor and/or pallet.
• Dislodges jams by hand.
• Removes tile from discharge end of boxing machine and stacks materials or products on pallets.
• Marks boxes with appropriate grade of product and other information.
• Inspects tile for damage or for conformity to specifications.
• Moves materials or products to or from conveyor.
• Stencils, tags, stamps or writes identifying information on packaged products.
• Records production.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.

NIGHT SHIFT PALLETIZER OPERATOR

PAY: $18.32 per hour + $.20 night shift differential

SHIFT: 2pm to 10pm

Monday - Friday 2pm to 10pm

Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
