Job summary

Novus Foods LLC is seeking a hardworking Sanitation Worker for our Florida food processing plant. You will use USDA-approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces and sanitize all components of our production equipment along the assembly line.

You will clean floors, manage waste, and ensure proper ventilation. Refill soap and towels, report issues to management, and assist with packaging or processing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work on feet for extended periods.
• Reliable mode of transportation.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and following instructions.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is desirable.

In this role, you will use USDA-approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces, sanitize all components of our food production and processing equipment, and ensure that there is no unnecessary waste along the assembly line. You will also clean the floors, ensure that the building ventilation is clean and working correctly, and refill sanitary products and soap in the bathrooms. Since we provide consumable products for sale and distribution to the public, we expect you to report any potential contamination issues. You may be asked to help with other packaging or processing tasks as needed.
