  • Maintain understanding of SIP requirements and API standards.
  • Witness 3rd-party calibrations, grind-outs, water draws, and provings as required by SIP.
  • Coordinate with 3rd-party pipeline companies for repairs and ticket corrections.
  • Participate in safety trainings and emergency response activities.

Job Summary

Maintain the pipeline and its supporting operational and monitoring equipment in compliance with regulations, company work practices, and safety standards. Ensure the reliability of equipment, accurate measurement, and quality of product transported through the system. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with connecting carriers and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor product movements relative to assigned area to ensure accurate ticketing.
  • Maintain batch stack daily according to scheduling changes.
  • Perform grind‑outs at crude metering stations and enter results into appropriate systems.
  • Review, revise, and distribute ONEOK/Magellan and/or 3rd‑party tickets and proves to the appropriate customer.
  • Investigate product losses and gains by batch.
  • Troubleshoot measurement equipment issues and work with a Technician to remedy them.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential measurement equipment failures or concerns and work with an assigned Technician to repair.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of SIP requirements and API standards for accurate measurement.
  • Witness 3rd‑party calibrations, grind‑outs, water draws, and provings as required by SIP.
  • Work closely with 3rd‑party pipeline companies to resolve needed repairs and/or ticket corrections.
  • Take ownership of unresolved product measurement issues, driving resolution.
  • Ensure daily over/shorts are settled in a timely manner.
  • Perform all Asset Integrity required maintenance for assigned assets and assist peers as needed, including pigging operations, valve site and station inspections, temperature, sump, and valve checks, mechanical LOTO’s, and tank inspections.
  • Maintain necessary OQs to perform assigned tasks.
  • Maintain personally assigned company assets and tasks, including vehicles, forklifts, tools, offices, and warehouses.
  • Remain available for assigned call‑out periods, to work samples as the schedule requires, in the event of emergency, and/or if co‑worker assistance is required.
  • Participate on the facility emergency response team.
  • Attend and actively participate in safety training meetings.
  • Position will be filled at a level commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications.
  • Assist with operations and maintenance activities on systems including compressor stations, gas storages, dehydration facilities, pumping facilities, and measurement facilities, covering startup and shutdown, pigging, liquid collection, tank gauging, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles.
  • React immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others.
  • Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions such as pipeline operations, maintenance, or emergency response, requiring alertness and immediate response to hazardous conditions to prevent serious injury or property damage.
Additional Essential Functions
  • Perform any additional duties to support pipeline system operations as assigned by management.
