Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a Machine Operator I for the day shift (8:00am - 8:00pm) in Kentucky. The role involves running PVC extrusion lines, mastering the associated computerized systems, testing and measuring pipe conformity, and performing quality inspections.

Candidates should have extrusion experience or the ability to learn quickly, read micrometers and OD tape, and be able to lift 50 pounds. Overtime, benefits, and a competitive hourly rate are offered.

• Extrusion experience or the ability to quickly learn Atkore’s PVC extrusion operation and change over procedures.
• Able to read micrometer and OD tape.
• Able to change print lines.

Responsibilities

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Repair red tag products.
• Confirm product with schedule.
• Complete operator paperwork (Operator sheets, regrind log, forklift check sheet).
• Cut crate boards to proper lengths.
• Process regrind.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 23/hour . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
