Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a production machine operator for the Dawson Facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role runs Monday–Friday, 5pm–5:30am, with occasional Saturdays, and involves setting up and operating production machines according to procedures.

You will read blueprints, adjust settings to meet specifications, and maintain a clean work area while following safety protocols in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training in area of specialty completed.
• Knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Able to follow instructions and established guidelines.
• Able to work under direct supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift, crane, or mechanical skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines per procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.

This position will be located at our Dawson Facility located at 3515 Dawson Rd, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

What Will You Do?

• Sets up and operates production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to set up and position machines
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
• Responsible for cleanliness of work area
• All other duties as assigned

Your Experience Should Be…

• Ability to complete formal training in area of specialty
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures

• Ability to work under immediate supervision
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Forklift, Overhead Crane and/or Mechanical Skills a plus
