Description

The Equipment Operator I is responsible for the assigned equipment/line and its daily operation, which includes daily set up, product changeovers, and the reporting of issues or maintenance problems. As Monogram’s first level of “Floor Leadership” the Operator will have oversight over their assigned line and team members. Thisrole is assigned to our 2nd shift, with a programmed schedule of 4:00pm - 1:00am.

General Duties:

  • Set up, operate, and tear down assigned production lines.
  • Ensure team members complete their tasks according to company standards.
  • Perform any needed non-mechanical adjustments to the production line as needed.
  • Complete all Quality Assurance checks with a minimum of 97% accuracy.
  • Ensure proper completion of assigned documents as well as accurate data entry.
  • Communicate any issues, concerns, problems, or maintenance opportunities to the Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure that the assigned area is maintained in a clean state.
  • Rotation in assigned areas as required.
  • Assist in training new team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

  • The production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.
  • You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays or the possibility of working in another department as needed.
  • Must maintain a reasonable production speed once the training period has ended.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
  • Walk on slippery wet surfaces.
  • Hand/eye coordination.
  • Handling (holding, grasping).
  • Seeing/depth perception.
  • Walk/stand 100% of shift.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
