Organization Overview

This opening is in the Distribution Warehouse, which is responsible for order processing functions such as picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers.

Location

Plainfield Distribution Center – Plainfield, Indiana. Reports to the Supervisor of Distribution Operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders, including interaction with the warehouse management system via a handheld RF device; validate packing requirements; weight‑check accuracy; consolidate by license plate; print packing list and shipping label.
• Ensure compliance with FDA and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain current and complete training identified in your individual training plan (ITP).
• Continuously seek improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy.

Basic Requirements

• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years warehouse experience required.

Additional Skills/Preferences

• Experience working with an electronic warehouse management system such as SAP, Exacta, Worldlink and RF scanners.
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexible and willing to be cross‑trained for multiple assignments.
• Willing to work overtime with little notice.
• Reliable with a strong attendance history.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High productivity rate in previous assignments.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) and accurate item counting.
• Self‑starter requiring minimal supervision.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks.
• Willing to work a portion of the day in a chilled environment (36–46 °F).
• Standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, and bending as required.

Additional Information

• Work Shift: 5 days a week, 8‑hour days Monday–Friday.
• Personal Considerations: No known allergies to antibiotics.

Compensation and Benefits

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $17.30 – $38.08 per hour. Full‑time employees are also eligible for company bonuses and a comprehensive benefit program, including 401(k) participation, pension, vacation benefits, medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage, flexible benefits, life insurance, various leave of absence options, and well‑being programs.
