Job summary

Biomerics is seeking an Operator I to perform basic manufacturing tasks, assemble components, operate equipment, handle materials, and inspect products under close supervision. You will follow precise instructions, join a team, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while learning production processes.

You will gain exposure to GMP, SOPs, traceability, and basic quality checks as you contribute to our medical device manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.
• 0-3 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned manufacturing tasks, such as assembling components, operating equipment, handling materials, or inspecting products, by closely following work instructions and guidance from experienced team members.
• Conduct basic visual inspections to check product quality and report any issues to a lead or supervisor.
• Accurately complete traceability forms and production documentation with support as needed.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Help maintain cleanroom or general work area standards and participate in housekeeping activities.
• Operate assigned equipment or tools under direct supervision, reporting any malfunctions or questions.
• Participate in on-the-job training and actively learn from supervisors and teammates.
