Job description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Familiar with safety rules (SDS, PPE requirements, etc.). Operates in a Safe manner.
  • Operates various molding presses following standard procedures (understanding press packet)
  • Deflashes, inspects and packs parts as needed and palletizes finished goods correctly per work instructions.
  • Reports any non-conforming issues to shift supervisor
  • Know and understand Quality Understands and performs visual criteria inspections.
  • Verifies questionable parts with quality staff
  • Fills out clean and legible reports (Scrap/Production Report, product labels)
  • Responsible for a clean, orderly, and safe work area
  • Clocks in/out for scheduled shift times
  • Verifies job assignment and reports to assigned press at scheduled start time
  • Respect co-workers, equipment and facility
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Maintains acceptable attendance based on the 10-point attendance policy
  • Must be able to stand while operating machinery
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
  • Understand difference between (WP) and (FG) products
  • IQMS usage - clocks in/out properly for work/breaks
  • Understands the difference between skill levels needed to progress through Operator I-III
  • Understanding of all areas outlined on the Skills Checklist.
