Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an Operator to join our Operations team in Mooresville, IN. This is a full-time position.

Key duties include moving materials safely with equipment and assisting with additional tasks as directed by management. The role requires at least 1 year of operator experience and OSHA 10, forklift and MEWP training, plus the ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work outdoors.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with operator certifications.
• OSHA 10 training at minimum; 30 preferred; forklift and fall protection trained; MEWP trained.
• Experience with operating a skid steer and water truck is a big plus.
• Must be agile/mobile, able to stand or walk long periods, and lift 50–100 lbs.
• Read/write ability and good situational awareness on a construction site.

About The Role

Qualifications

Required:

• Ideal candidate for this position will possess 1 year of experience with operator certifications.
• Individuals must possess an understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge, able to work side by side with the team when necessary and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, OSHA 10 training at minimum/30 preferred, forklift (all kinds) and fall protection trained, mobile elevated work platform trained (boom and scissor).
• Experience with operating a skid steer and water truck is a huge plus.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred

• Individuals must work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
