Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a skilled Carpenter for our Mooresville, IN project. This full-time role supports the operations team on site, performing framing, handrails, measurement, and general carpentry tasks.

Candidates should have OSHA 10, fall protection training, be able to lift 50–100 lbs, and read drawings; overtime and weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Five years of construction experience.
• Read basic drawings.
• OSHA 10, fall protection, and MEWP training.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and lift 50–100 lbs.
• Ownership mindset, professionalism and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain safety handrails, hole protection, steps and ladders, and temporary enclosures.
• Sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling and other duties as assigned.
• Experience with concrete is a huge plus.

About the Role

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our Operations team on our project in Mooresville, IN. This is a full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructing andmaintainingsafety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weatherenclosuresand protection.
• Also does sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Experience working with Concrete is a HUGE plus.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Possess5 yearsof construction experience .
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• Have training on construction safety protocols (i.e.OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom andscissor).
• This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred:

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
