Job summary

Holder Construction in Culpeper, VA is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator to join our Operations team. The role focuses on moving materials safely using various equipment and supporting the crew on site. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of operator experience, OSHA 10 at minimum, forklift and fall protection training, and willingness to work overtime or weekends.

MVR screening applies. Candidates should be physically capable, able to read/write, lift 50-100 lbs, and operate skid

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with operator certifications.
• Safety and general constructability knowledge; teamwork with the crew.
• OSHA 10 minimum; forklift and fall protection training.
• MEWP training (boom and scissor) preferred.
• Experience operating skid steer and water truck is a plus.
• Physical: lift 50–100 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, read/write and vision/hearing adequate.

About the Role

We are looking for an Operator to join our Operations team in Culpeper, VA. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving materials in a safe and orderly way using equipment.
• Also perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required:

• Ideal candidate for this position will possess 1 year of experience with operator certifications.
• Individuals must possess an understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge, able to work side by side with the team when necessary and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, OSHA 10 training at minimum/30 preferred, forklift (all kinds) and fall protection trained, mobile elevated work platform trained (boom and scissor).
• Experience with operating a skid steer and water truck is a huge plus.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred:

• Individuals must work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
