Public Service Co. of OK is seeking a Plant Operator to perform semi-skilled manual work in connection with power plant operation and to maintain plant auxiliary systems.
The role requires a two-year associate degree in relevant technology or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work rotating shifts. Responsibilities include isolating and servicing equipment, monitoring water chemistry, and assisting with boiler preparations.
Perform semi-skilled manual work in connection with power plant operation.
Physical Demands - walking, standing, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Compensation Data Compensation Grade: U070-938 Compensation Range: $35.80 - $35.80
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: M – Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
