Position Brand Description

Operator will work in the Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing site where Parenteral products for domestic and international markets are manufactured and packaged. The primary purpose of the job is to manufacture, fill sterile products into syringes.

Key Objectives/Deliverables

  • Adhere to Parenteral Plant safety policies and procedures, contribute to a safe work environment
  • Setup and operate non-aseptic processes
  • Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies/procedures


Minimum Requirements

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
  • Must pass a “fitness for duty” physical exam
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and a quality mindset
  • Strong math skills
  • Basic computer skills, with capability to learn
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment


Additional Preferences

  • Experience with GMPs
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience


Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent


Other Information

  • Ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves, respirator, etc.)
  • Shift structure is 12 hour shifts on a 3-2-2-3 schedule
  • Overtime and holiday period work will be required
  • Some of the products in Parenteral Operations are known allergens and consequently, a post offer allergy test may be required.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$17.30 - $39.06

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
