Job summary

JAMAK FABRICATION in Weatherford, TX is seeking an Extrusion Operator in the ERP extrusion area. This entry-level position trains you on extrusion, taping, inline cutting, post curing, and packaging to fulfill orders.

Responsibilities include following instructions, reporting production, setting up equipment, measuring parts, and ensuring quality. Shift options: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm; 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm with a $1.00 differential; strong safety and teamwork emphasis.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be safety conscious.
• Must be able to read/write English and make simple math calculations.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination and good eyesight; corrective lenses acceptable.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and sit or stand for long periods.
• Must maintain a clean work environment.
• Must work in a dusty, hot/cold environment.
• Must work as a team member.
• Willingness to cross train on multiple processes.

Summary

An Extrusion Operator is an entry-level position in the ERP extrusion area. Personnel hired into this position are trained on one or more of the following operations: extrusion, taping, inline cutting and drilling, post curing and packaging product required for orders.

• Verify products meet quality standards
• Measure parts using calipers and rulers to ensure parts are proper size
• Understand process sheets, work instructions, and product prints
• Report to work as scheduled and on time.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
