Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and operate manufacturing equipment per production requirements and safety procedures.
• Operate rewind machines, cover lines, packagers, tape/braiders, plastic extruders, and related production equipment.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously as required.
• Perform cable repair, patching, or splicing activities where applicable.
• Conduct quality assurance checks per manufacturing, engineering, and ISO requirements.
• Read and interpret routine work instructions and production documentation.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to support manufacturing.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment safely.
• Operate material handling equipment and overhead cranes or obtain certifications.
• Support reel changes and coiler operations to maintain production flow.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures, attendance expectations.

As a Operator – Equipment – I, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, monitoring, and operating manufacturing equipment in accordance with production requirements and safety procedures.

To be Successful in this Role, You Will:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 6 months of previous manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Have experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Be able to read and interpret routine instructions and production documents.
• Possess basic mathematical and measurement skills.
• Demonstrate strong attendance and reliability.
• Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Have forklift experience (preferred but not required).
• Be willing and able to obtain certifications for material handling equipment and overhead crane operation, where required.

Work Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Monday through Friday
• Saturdays as needed (overtime may be required)
• Standard workweek of 36-40 hours, with additional overtime opportunities based on business needs. Overtime is not guaranteed each week.
