Workwear Outfitters, LLC is seeking a sewing/embroidery operator for our Nashville, Tennessee facility. The role involves preparing garments, hooping, loading designs, and operating sewing machines to ensure quality output.

The candidate should have basic English and math skills, be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work overtime including weekends if needed. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential to maintain a safe, efficient work area.

Qualifications

• Sewing/embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic reading, speaking, and understanding English and basic math skills.
• Physical ability to stand/walk up to 100% of shift.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Detail-oriented with high quality standards.
• Flexible and able to work with others, overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check in garments when they arrive.
• Load design onto the machine via computer.
• Hoop garment or item while the machine runs, prepping for next run.
• Operate machines while trimming the backing.
• Learn to adjust tensions for better sewing quality.
• Fix errors if needed on items.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, clean work environment.
