Disposal Well Operator
Full Time. FLSA Classification: Non‑Exempt. Business Unit: Disposals. Reports to: Operations Manager. Travel Requirement: None.

Job Description
Responsible for assuring safe and efficient operation of the disposal well system. Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
Essential Functions
- Maintain the disposal area’s appearance and cleanliness.
- Record and report daily retrieval of oil, water, and pressure.
- Monitor water pumps and trucks when disposing salt water.
- Retrieve oil from working pits and tanks.
- Unload lines, discharge fluids, and operate related equipment.
- Generate and document third‑party tickets and related filings.
- Meet compliance requirements with county, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure tickets are accurate and signed by drivers.
- Coordinate shift transition between day and night attendants, communicating status and issues.
- Follow up with drivers/pushers to confirm fluid delivery.
- Attend company meetings as requested.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Enhance utilization and driver compliance.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area for safety.
- Report and correct unsafe practices.

Requirements
- Work 12‑hour shifts.
- Knowledge of disposal operations.
- Lubricate equipment.
- Climb 15–25 ft. staircase or catwalk.
- Download and use inspection applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Valid driver’s license and eligible to drive company vehicles per insurance guidelines.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Team player qualities.
- Mechanical experience preferred.

- Outdoor work in varied weather, contact with moving mechanical parts, high wind, ice, snow, wet/humid conditions, vibration, dust.
- Exposure to noise requiring hearing protection.
