Select Water Solutions is seeking a Disposal Well Operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of the disposal well system and to maintain regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local requirements. This role reports to the Operations Manager and requires 12-hour shifts in a field setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring pumps, recording daily fluid metrics, loading/unloading lines, and coordinating with drivers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain disposal area appearance and cleanliness.
• Record and report daily retrieval of oil, water, and pressure.
• Monitor pumps and trucks during disposal of salt water.
• Retrieve oil from pits and tanks.
• Unload lines, discharge fluids, and operate related equipment.
• Generate and document tickets and filings with third parties.
• Ensure compliance with county, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate shift transitions and communicate status to drivers.
• Follow company policies and enhance driver compliance.

Job Description

Responsible for assuring safe and efficient operation of the disposal well system. Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.

Essential Functions

• Maintain the disposal area’s appearance and cleanliness.
• Record and report daily retrieval of oil, water, and pressure.
• Monitor water pumps and trucks when disposing salt water.
• Retrieve oil from working pits and tanks.
• Unload lines, discharge fluids, and operate related equipment.
• Generate and document third‑party tickets and related filings.
• Meet compliance requirements with county, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure tickets are accurate and signed by drivers.
• Coordinate shift transition between day and night attendants, communicating status and issues.
• Follow up with drivers/pushers to confirm fluid delivery.
• Attend company meetings as requested.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Enhance utilization and driver compliance.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area for safety.
• Report and correct unsafe practices.

Requirements

• Work 12‑hour shifts.
