Job summary

Bunge North America, located in Decatur, IN, is hiring a D Operator Edible Oil. The role involves safely loading trucks and rail cars, moving rail cars for shipments, and performing various utility and sanitation tasks in the Edible Oil Department.

The position requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather, follow safety policies, and lift/determine conditions on process logs. Overtime and weekend shifts are expected.

Responsibilities

• Move rail cars for inbound and outbound shipments.

• Monitor gas plant and nitrogen buildings and report safety concerns.
• Record process conditions on log sheets and adjust processes as needed.
• Perform sanitation duties and maintain equipment cleanliness.

A Day in the Life:

This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The D Operator Edible Oil is responsible for safely and accurately loading trucks and rail cars and performing various utility functions through the Edible Oil Department.

Position Details

Hourly pay rate: $30.99

What You’ll Be Doing

• Move rail cars for inbound and outbound shipments
• Load and unload trucks and rail cars
• Unload and distribute inbound supplies and products
• Monitor gas plant and nitrogen buildings
• Report any concerns with safe food practices
• Monitor processes and make adjustments as needed
• Record process conditions on log sheet
• Wash rail cars
• Clean and change filters
• Sanitation duties

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic computer and mechanical skills

• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
