Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking a Production Operator for the 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) in Menasha, Wisconsin. You will review batch tickets, prepare samples, report safety issues, and support plant operations with mixing equipment and SAP duties.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and strong verbal/written communication. This is an on-site position with opportunities for team collaboration and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must be computer efficient and able to use basic software.

Responsibilities

• Review batch tickets and follow procedures.

Job Title:Production Operator

Hours: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Review batch tickets – Read, understand, andfollow.
• Provide samples tolab.
• Report near miss incidents and improvementopportunities.
• Equipment cleaning, plant cleaning, wastedisposal.
• SAP inventory look-up and SAPduties.
• Tubwasher.
• Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scaleoperation)
• Participate on plantteams.
• Stock rotation / Minimization of partialcontainers.
• Ingredienttraceability.
• Operate and trouble shoot mixingequipment.
• Trainingothers.
• SAP CORK duties and SAP Cycle countduties.
• Preliminary qualitychecks.
• Operation of equipment with an inertingsystem.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times & maintain a clean work area and worksafely.
• Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and trainingsessions.
• Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties & stay updated on all applicable procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED or the ability to pass a pre-employment screening assessment required
• Must be computerefficient.
• Must possess basic mathskills.
• Candidates must have demonstrated experience with and knowledge ofsafety.
• Candidates must possess sound verbal and written communicationskills.
• Must be able to work 40 hrs. andovertime.
