Job summary

Edko, LLC in Louisiana seeks candidates with vegetation management experience. A background in forestry, arboriculture or a related field is beneficial but not required. Personnel are expected to perform herbicide applications along right-of-ways and road sides.

Operators will plan, direct, and coordinate application efforts, and interface with other personnel and customers. Responsibilities include CDL-related tasks, maps interpretation, and using laptops/handhelds; travel may require overnight

Qualifications

• CDL License.
• Proper documentation and medical card for CDL.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to interpret and follow maps.
• Ability to use a laptop and handheld computers.
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record is required.
• The ability to work independently for long hours and out of town with extended overnight travel.
• Vegetation management experience, tree knowledge and ID skills a Plus.
