Job summary

Edko, LLC is seeking candidates with experience in vegetation management or a related field. A background in forestry, arboriculture or a related field is beneficial but not required. Personnel are expected to perform herbicide applications along right-of-ways and road sides.

Operators will plan, direct, and coordinate application efforts, and interface with other personnel and customers. Seasonal positions that could become permanent.

Qualifications

• CDL license is required and valid.
• Medical card for CDL is required.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to interpret and follow maps.
• Proficient in using a laptop/handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Apply vegetation management chemicals along rights-of-way and roadsides.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate application efforts.
• Interface with field personnel and customers.
• Travel for job assignments, including extended overnight trips.
• Company provides vehicle/gas card and travel meals/lodging.

• The ability to work independently for long hours and out of town with extended overnight travel.
• Vegetation management experience, tree knowledge and ID skills a Plus.
