Job summary

ProAmpac in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a production operator to set up, operate, and monitor bag machinery to meet customer goals. You will handle loading materials, adjust settings, and calibrate equipment for reliable operation.

The role focuses on maintaining product quality, recording materials for inventory, and coordinating with technicians and supervisors to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and monitors bag machinery to meet production goals.
• Completes bag machine setup for production runs, loading materials and calibrating equipment.
• Inspects and tests materials and equipment to ensure quality standards and quotas are met.
• Verifies and tracks materials for inventory and work in progress.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance.
• Trains and guides machine assistants and new crew members.
• Maintains organization of machinery and workspace per housekeeping requirements.
• Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
• Collaborates with machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control to coordinate production.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Communicates effectively with leadership, staff, and clients.

• Safley sets up, operates, and monitors bag machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.

• Completes bag machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.

• Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.

• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.

• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.

• Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.

• Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.

• Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.
