Job description

The Operator Assistant II-Frac Acid under strict supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac-specific job roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC, etc.).

  • Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
  • Assignment Length: 3 month contract with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: 14 days on, 7 days off, days and nights, 14-16 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Learns basic operations to include but not limited to: performing pre/post job equipment inspections, performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, discharge manifold equipment, etc.).
  • Completes requisite training and demonstrates competency as defined for current and next level.
  • Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
  • Assists in the cleanup, repair, and preparation for the next job.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Participates in quality and continuous improvement processes.
  • Reading comprehension and writing skills are required.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred.
  • Skills are acquired through on-the-job training and 3-6 months experience as an Operator Assistant I.
  • Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
