Job summary

Halliburton is hiring an Operator Assistant I – Frac/Acid for on-site work in Bossier City, LA. You will assist in delivering equipment, proppant handling, and tank measurement while learning operations and safety protocols. A high school diploma and ability to obtain a Class A CDL are required.

You must pass background, physical, and drug screening, and be able to lift 60 lbs. Strong communication and safety mindset are essential for day-to-day success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PSL equipment to wellsite under supervision.

• Assist in assembly, preparation and cleanup of equipment.
• Maintain safety and environmental awareness on site.

Job Duties and Qualifications

• Under supervision, delivers Product Service Line (PSL) equipment towellsite
• Providesproppanthandling services,manifoldingrig-up and tanks measurement during thejob
• Learns basic operations to include but not limited to:

• Performing pre/post job equipment inspections
• Performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures
• Operating support equipment (i.e.,proppanthandling, Fluid Tanks, suctionmanifolding, treating lines, etc.)
• Learn and adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines, and other appropriate safety and service quality protocols andguidelines
• Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation andservice

• Assists in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for the nextjob
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures andregulations
• Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvementprocesses
• Completes training as required following the Company’s learning development system andprocesses

Requirements:

• Must have High school diploma or equivalenteducation
• Must have 3-6 months experience as Operator Assistant I –Frac/Acid or 1 year of related work experience in oilfieldservices
• Must be able to obtain Class A CDL licensure
• Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges
• Completion of Operator Assistant I –Frac/Acid competencies, or similar level of competence from previous industry experience
• Able to lift 60 lbs.
• Able to communicate effectively withothers

• Able to understand and carry out routine oral and writteninstructions
• Able to perform basic mathematicalcalculations

• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, longwork days, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weatherconditions
