Summary:

The Folder/Gluer Apprentice is responsible for correctly setting up the feed section of the machine and assisting the machine operator with other duties. This position involves cross-training in all functions and tasks related to running the folder/gluer machines in our facility. Future folder gluer operators will be promoted from the apprentice pool.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Set up the feed section of the machine in a timely manner.
2. Ensure sheets are properly placed in the machine.
3. Maintain overall quality and cleanliness of the machine.
4. Assist the operator during training on all aspects of machine operation.
5. Fill in for the operator during their absence.
6. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of equipment and the work area.
7. Work safely and efficiently following company policies and procedures.
8. Overtime may be required.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
