Job summary

BRANDT® is seeking skilled Custom applicators to operate spray equipment and apply pesticides or fertilizer at approved rates. You will mix, load, and apply products, maintain records, and communicate with customers.

You will also operate and maintain equipment and vehicles, perform daily inspections, handle chemicals, and coordinate application timetables with customers to ensure timely service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles.
• Mix, load and apply pesticides and fertilizers.
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers at approved rates to fields.
• Recertify spraying technician license and safety training every two years.

• Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals.

• Clean and maintain equipment.

Job description

Custom applicators are responsible for the operation of spray equipment and the effective application of pesticides or fertilizer. They mix, load and apply pesticides and fertilizers to fields at approved applicable rates. Custom applicators also operate and maintain a variety of equipment and vehicles including sprayers, spreaders and trucks. They must maintain accurate application records and communicate with customers.
