Job summary

Expro is seeking a junior field role to support the Midstream product line in Waynesburg, PA. The role involves hands-on field tasks, equipment rigging, data collection, and on-site collaboration with Supervisors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates will have field services exposure, a High School diploma, and a willingness to learn. On-call duties and remote/off-road driving will be required, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

  • Field services experience preferred.
  • holding a Class A CDL preferred.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Driving skills suitable for off-road or remote conditions.
  • On-call 24/7/365 when not on days off.
  • Good computer skills and literacy.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years of general oilfield or pipeline/plant experience preferred.
  • Satisfactory results of all required employment screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion of tasks per Operating manual.
  • Responsible for safe use of hand tools and equipment.
  • Assist in loading/unloading of equipment at site.
  • Rig up and rig down of site equipment as instructed.
  • Gather data and operate equipment including pipeline flaring and tank venting to required standards.
  • Maintain and service equipment including flares, generators, pumps, vessels, trucks.
  • Communicate with client representatives professionally and provide quality service.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, HSE policies and company procedures.

Job description

Expro supplies personnel and equipment for oil and gas drilling, production, pipeline, and plant applications such as Flare Rental, Pipeline Decommissioning and Recommissioning and ignitor service to its customers. This position is a junior role to support the Expro Midstream product line directly in the field and is located in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

Key Activities and Accountabilities
  • Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating manual.
  • Responsible for safe and proper use of hand tools.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of equipment being shipped and arriving on site for the job.
  • Rig up and rig down of site equipment as instructed.
  • Gather and record data and operate equipment by Operator and Supervisor including but not limited to pipeline flaring, tank venting, equipment pipeline separation and clean up to customer and company standards of excellence.
  • Proper maintenance, repair and service of equipment including flares, generators, pumps, vessels, trucks as instructed.
  • Carry out repair and service of equipment in shop and in the field.
  • On-going communications including half hourly reporting of data to Operator and or Supervisor.
  • Continuously gain knowledge from online or hands‑on training supplied by Expro Pipeline staff on location in all aspects of an Operators job.
  • Communicate with client representatives when required in a professional manner ensuring quality of service to client.
  • Liaise with Supervisor, team members, and operations department to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties and maintain effective communication to achieve safe operations and successful task completion.
  • Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client’s requirements.
  • Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next role.
  • Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorization for any deviations from standard procedures.
  • Comply with all policies including but not limited to the Code of Conduct, Anti-Briberty as well as, Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes.
  • Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others.
  • Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 12 Safety House Rules.
  • Due to the safety sensitive nature of this job, worker must perform their job in a constant state of alertness.
  • Other operations related duties as directed.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Field Services experience preferred.
  • Hold a Class A CDL preferred.

  • Driving skills which reflect safety and skill in off‑road or remote conditions.
  • On‑call 24/7/365 when not on approved days off.
  • Good computer skills and literacy.

  • 2 years of General Oilfield or pipeline/plant experience preferred.
  • Satisfactory results of all required employment screenings (background/MVR check, drug and alcohol test, physical etc).
Physical Qualifications
  • Regularly stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and smell.
  • Requires occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and exertion of force up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to see objects close, afar, and use peripheral vision is required.
  • Ability to hear and take verbal direction over loud ambient noises.
  • Works outdoors in a 24/7 on‑call environment: regularly subject to cold, hot, wet or humid conditions resulting from weather or other various conditions.
  • Regularly work near fumes / airborne particles.
