Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $23.87. Our plant in Jacksonville, FL manufactures polyisocyanurate foam insulation panels for use in roofing systems, including tapered, vented, composite, nail board, and sheathing products.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, with Saturdays as needed.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Use safe work practices including the use of eye, ear, respiratory and foot protection equipment as needed. Shows initiative in supporting plant-wide safety by following all safety procedures and policies and reporting hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards, always keeping equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Work as part of a team; relieve and support other team members as needed.
  • Maintain communication to support a cohesive team and ensure quality product is being made.
  • Complete production reporting.
  • Ensure the department's continuous compliance with all policies, procedures, job safety analysis (JSA), and standard operating procedures (SOP).
What You Bring To The Team
  • Forklift experience; certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages).
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, and finished product specifications.
  • Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
  • Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling).
  • Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
  • Ability to safely and effectively work in an often‑dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
  • Ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
  • Ability to reach or work above the shoulder.
