Job summary

Pacer Group in Four Oaks, NC is seeking an Operator 1, Forklift to safely move products within the distribution center. Role requires forklift experience and ability to lift over 50 lbs, with preference for manufacturing backgrounds.

Position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 12-month duration, starting at $18.00 per hour. High School diploma not required; certification can be obtained quickly after hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED not required for this job assignment.
• 1 year of relevant experience required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months forklift experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Possible lifting/moving over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment).
• Operate material handling equipment including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products across the site.
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures, including PPE (safety vest and safety shoes).
• Cross-train and provide backup support when required.

Job Summary:
