Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machinery to manufacture medical components from raw materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
  • Identify and replace dull tooling as required.
  • Complete production documentation, data entry transactions, and barcode scanning activities accurately.
  • Follow Quality System requirements, FDA regulations, QSR, and applicable standards.

As an Operator 1, you will operate CNC and manual machining equipment in a fast paced, team oriented environment where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are at the center of everything we do.

What will you be doing?
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machinery to manufacture medical components from raw materials
  • Operate multiple simple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and productivity standards
  • Use precision measuring and inspection equipment to verify product quality
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation
  • Identify and replace dull tooling as required
  • Complete production documentation, data entry transactions, and barcode scanning activities accurately
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in team activities and problem solving
  • Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Follow all Quality System requirements, company policies, FDA regulations, QSR requirements, and applicable domestic and international standards
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What will you need to be successful?

  • 0 to 6 months of experience operating machining equipment producing simple to moderately complex components
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to details

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $18.75/h - $28.12/h USD hourly and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, job-related knowledge/skills, geographical location.
