Job summary

Jimmy Jazz in Hickman, CA is seeking a Production Operator to operate almond processing equipment and support production and warehouse activities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will monitor equipment, load/unload materials, maintain records, follow GMPs and safety policies, and work 12-hour shifts including overtime and weekends. Must have forklift experience and be a team player with good communication.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or nut processing environment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• At least 1 year of forklift driving experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing equipment including meal line, butter mill, batch roaster, oil and dry roasters, and slicing machines.
• Set up, start, adjust, and shut down machinery according to standard procedures.
• Monitor product quality (color, size, texture, and defects) and reports any discrepancies.
• Identify and report equipment issues; perform minor troubleshooting as needed.
• Safely operate forklift and pallet jack to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Load and unload bins, equipment, and production lines.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records with full traceability.
• Perform routine equipment and forklift inspections.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as required.
• Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assist in other production or warehouse tasks as needed.
