Job summary

Sotera Health Company is seeking an Operator in West Memphis, AR to coordinate activities on the conveyor, load and unload product, and ensure accurate paperwork. You’ll work under the Shift Supervisor and perform dosimeter-related tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training will certify you for operator duties.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills are desired.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Records input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Operates and reads the dosimeter reader; assembles data sheets and load/unload sheets.
• Reports system problems and assists maintenance as needed.
• Follows emergency procedures and safety protocols.
