NAPCO, a Westlake company, is seeking a production operator to work within a designated cell on a production shift. You will be responsible for efficient operation of production equipment and ensuring quality by inspecting products and measuring dimensions.
The role requires basic math, reading ability, and adherence to SOPs and safety protocols; you will collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The production operator is assigned to a specific cell or work area on a production shift. He or she is responsible for the efficient operation of the production equipment and required to perform the following duties.

High School diploma or equivalent required. No prior experience or training.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable English words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
