Job summary

SKF in Waukegan, IL is seeking an Operator to monitor the warehouse management system, manage order flow, and coordinate shipping with internal teams and partners. Training will be provided on all systems used, including WASS, Lotus Notes, and MS Office.

The role requires a high school diploma, bilingual Spanish, and experience in warehouse or logistics, with strong communication and attention to detail. Overtime may be required as needed.

• Access COH and DOH to obtain required shipping information.
• Generate BOLs, SED, invoices, and packing lists for domestic and international shipments.
• Access customer and third-party logistics portals to obtain shipping instructions.
• Maintain communication via email, phone, and written correspondence with internal teams, customers, and logistics providers.
• Monitor the shared shipping inbox and Lotus Notes Post Release module.
• Support warehouse management with shipping functions as needed.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for monitoring and managing the warehouse management system (WMS) using WASS, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Office tools. The role ensures efficient order flow, accurate shipment documentation, and effective communication between internal teams and external partners. Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent


• Bilingual (Spanish) required


• Experience: Warehouse or logistics experience


• Technical Skills: Basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills; ability to learn company systems


• Strong verbal, written, and email communication skills


• Good organizational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to work overtime as needed
