Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to join our El Paso, TX facility. You will operate converting lines, monitor product quality, adjust machine settings, and record production data to ensure efficiency and safety on the line.

You will collaborate with Packers and other operators, follow GMP and safety standards, and help identify quality issues. Training and mentoring teammates on the line are part of the role, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and

Responsibilities

• Correctly and safely operate fluff converting lines
• Safely and efficiently participate in changeovers, operation, and troubleshooting of various unit ops on assigned line.
• Check and maintain product quality according to specifications provided
• Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, and flow of materials
• Record and maintain accurate production data into assigned systems
• Supply packaging materials to line as required to ensure efficient operation.
• Inspect finished goods during the run, help to identify and correct routine quality problems.
• Maintain all safety, GMP, and area housekeeping standards.
• Maintains constant communication with other team members to assure product quality, quantity, and efficiencies.
• Fill out Maintenance request on all needed maintenance functions, assisting when possible.
• Perform quality tests, analyze and record data. Make necessary process changes to maintain productivity and quality levels.
• Daily collaboration with Packers and Assistant Operator in determining what tasks need to be accomplished.
• Train and serve as mentor/lead to others on the line crew.
• Use material handling equipment as requested.
• Perform any assigned duties that fall within the scope as defined by site management

• Colaboración diaria con empacadores y operador asistente para determinar qué tareas deben realizarse.
• Entrenar y servir como mentor / guía para otros en el equipo de línea.
• Utilizar el equipo de manejo de materiales según lo solicitado.
• Realizar cualquier tarea asignada que caiga dentro del alcance definido por la administración del sitio

MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Standing: Most tasks are performed in a standing position with frequent walking.
• Lifting: Frequent lifting of items ranging in weight from 20 lbs. to 75 lbs. Crain Hoists are available.
• Walking: Frequent walking of short distances (approx. 200 feet or less).
• Carrying: Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 20 lbs. to 75 lbs. Crain Hoists are available.
• Bending: Frequent bending and crouching required to complete assembly tasks.
• Reaching: Continuous full range of motion from above the shoulders to below the knees.
