Job summary

BRANDT Planting Solutions in Curran, IL, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to run equipment that blends ingredients and produces bulk product in a safety- and quality-driven environment.

You will report to the Production Supervisor and work in a facility located in Curran. The role requires forklift operation, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to standard work procedures; hours are typically Monday–Friday with potential overtime based on demand.

Responsibilities

• Mix raw components per formula using standard work procedures to produce product for packaging.
• Turn valve controls to start equipment and adjust operations to ensure quality product.
• Unload and load materials.
• Perform warehouse functions.
• Train and perform multiple jobs depending on production orders.
• Drive sit-down forklift to move ingredients and finished product.
• May be assigned other operational duties as needed by Production Supervisor.

Job Description: Manufacturing Operator-Curran IL

The operator will work in the manufacturing facility using raw components to produce bulk product. This position will operate equipment that blends ingredients while following all safety and quality standards.

The Operator will report to the Production Supervisor. This position is located at our BRANDT Planting Solutions Facility, located in Curran IL.

Essential Functions

• Mixing of raw components per formula given utilizing standard work procedures to produce product for packaging. Ability to follow all safety and quality regulations.
• Ability to turn valve controls to start equipment and to adjust operations to ensure quality product
• Unloading and loading of materials
• Perform warehouse functions
• Ability to train and perform multiple jobs depending on production orders
• Ability to drive sit-down forklift to move ingredients and finished product
• May be assigned other operational duties as needed by Production Supervisor

Supervisory Responsibility

Not applicable to this position.

The Operator/Material Handler will be working in a manufacturing environment. This position will be inside.

Classification/Expected Hours of Employment

This position is a full time position that is non-exempt. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, there may be some overtime necessary on weekends depending on customer demands.
