Responsibilities

• Operate fly ash loading facility and oversee loading, billing, and testing.

• Operate truck scales; issue tickets and billing information.

Job Summary

The Operator operates a fly ash loading facility, overseeing loading, billing, and testing.

Job Responsibilities

• Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures
• Maintain communication with host facility
• Monitor levels of fly ash in silos and place orders as needed
• Performs all required tests on fly ash as specified by the company; pulls samples for testing and for sending to customers
• Operates truck scales and creates tickets and billing information
• Operates all loading equipment for loading trucks and/or rail cars, may require the use of heavy equipment or a forklift
• Takes care of maintaining and cleaning of all equipment, also maintains facilities and grounds, calls for maintenance work when necessary
• Responsible for plant safety
• Responsible for all paperwork and reports as required by the central office
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade

At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
