Job description

Overview

Operations Unit Supervisor (Environmental Planner 5) role at IAP2 USA. This position can be located in Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA; Northwest Region Office in Shoreline, WA; Central Region Office in Union Gap, WA; or Eastern Region Office in Spokane, WA. Tele-work options: up to 80% tele-work.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a statewide operations and technical unit that supports core Water Resources Program business areas, including water resources permitting, data management, compliance and enforcement, and technical analysis.
  • Work with a team to build and sustain statewide consistency, establish standard operating procedures to support core regulatory work, and provide technical service delivery on projects of statewide significance.
  • Manage priority operations-related process improvement projects, facilitate and lead statewide business teams, and help set the strategic direction for these teams and their work plans.
  • Serve as the program lead on Healthy Environment for All (HEAL) Act implementation and integration of environmental justice into core program work, coordinating closely with the Office of Equity and Environmental Justice as new agency guidance becomes available.
Location, Schedule and Salary
  • Tele-work eligible up to 80% depending on position needs.
  • Salary: $75,120.00 - $101,052.00 Annually (note: location-based adjustments may apply; additional 5% pay increase if final location is NWRO in Shoreline, WA, King County).
