Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Specialist, Training to lead training, qualification, and workforce development for Lake Charles polymers sites in LA. You will drive onboarding, qualification, and ongoing education to ensure compliant, capable personnel across operations, maintenance, and technical teams.

The role focuses on developing training materials, maintaining LMS and qualification data, and collaborating with SMEs to提升 instructional content and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing training, workforce development, qualification management, operations, maintenance, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Operational Excellence standards, training systems, qualification processes, H&OP, and document control practices.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training.
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Operating knowledge of Spheripol, gas phase reactors, and Catalloy.

Responsibilities

• Lead training, qualification, and workforce development efforts for Lake Charles sites.
• Maintain site training systems, qualification matrices, curricula, plans, examinations, and records.
• Develop, review, revise, and approve training materials with SMEs using instructional design principles.
• Support audits, regulatory compliance activities, including Operational Excellence, Quality, DOT, and environmental requirements.
