The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and leadership experience in space systems operations or related training programs. On-site work at Chantilly/Colorado Springs available, with potential 9/80 schedule depending on program needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
  • Active U.S. Government TS security clearance and TS/SCI eligibility at time of application.
  • Ability to lead multiple teams and communicate complex concepts to engineers.
  • Experience with space systems operations and training-related activities is preferred.
  • Geographically dispersed teams experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple teams and align tasks with IPT vision.

  • Ensure resources meet tasking needs and identify efficiency gains.

Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret [TS] security clearance and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) [TS/SCI] at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval/access within a reasonable amount of time [US citizenship required]Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple teamsMust have excellent communication skills and be capable of presenting technical concepts to a diverse group of engineers.Experience working with geographically dispersed teamsExperience with Spacecraft OperationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with developing and providing training related to on-orbit spacecraft operationsExperience with on-orbit spacecraft anomaly resolution and root cause corrective actions investigationsPast military service experience, preferably in Space Force or Air ForceExperience with spacecraft-related training programsExpertise in technical disciplines such as orbital propagation and perturbations, orbit estimation, orbital maneuvers, modeling, simulation, and analysisFamiliarity with astrodynamics tools, including FreeFlyer, System Tool Kit (STK), NASA General Mission Analysis Tool (GMAT), and Orbit Determination Toolbox (ODTBX)Advanced Orbital Mechanics knowledge and experience#SpaceEngJobs#SpaceSoftwareJobs#COSpacePrimary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
