Position Summary
Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000
A valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License is required.
The Operations Trainer plays a vital role in fostering workforce growth and efficiency. Responsible for designing and delivering training plans, this role ensures employees have the skills and knowledge needed for their duties. Focus areas include productivity, customer service, compliance, and fostering continuous learning. The trainer assesses training needs, develops materials, and conducts remote and in-person sessions, supporting onboarding, ongoing staff development, and new product launches to enhance organizational success.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Training
- 4-5 years of related experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal/written)
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and adapt quickly; detail-oriented.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
- Proven leadership skills in managing learning groups and collaborating with leaders.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and resolve issues related to trainee progress.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and adaptability to participant and business needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required; National Technician Certification preferred.
Essential Job Duties
- Develop and implement training programs aligned with organizational goals, creating relevant content including manuals, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, and improve programs accordingly.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions using various methodologies to suit different learning styles.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop targeted programs.
- Provide remediation support post-training to ensure successful skill application.
- Manage training logistics such as scheduling, setup, technology, and communication.
