Position Summary

The Operations Trainer plays a vital role in developing our workforce. Responsible for designing and delivering training plans, this role ensures employees have the skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively. Focus areas include boosting productivity, delivering excellent customer service, ensuring compliance, and fostering continuous learning. The trainer assesses needs, creates training materials, and facilitates remote and in-person sessions, supporting onboarding, ongoing development, and new product launches to enhance organizational success.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Training

• 4-5 years of related experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and adapt quickly; detail-oriented
• Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities
• Proven leadership skills; capable of managing learning groups and collaborating with leaders
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues related to trainee progress
• Knowledge of adult learning principles; adaptable to participant and business needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required; National Technician Certification preferred

Essential Job Duties

• Develop and implement training programs aligned with organizational goals, creating relevant content including manuals, videos, and online modules
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback for continuous improvement
• Facilitate engaging training sessions using diverse methodologies to suit different learning styles
• Identify training needs with department heads and develop targeted programs
• Provide remediation support post-training to ensure skill application
• Manage logistics of training sessions, including scheduling and technology setup
