EMR offers our team a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans with company match, wellbeing benefits, employee assistance program and more. Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first!

Are you a natural leader with a passion for customer service and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, hands-on industry? EMR is seeking motivated individuals for our Operations Trainee team, designed to prepare you for leadership roles in our dynamic organization.

As a trainee, you’ll gain comprehensive knowledge of our operations, from managing daily tasks to supervising personnel, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Depot Manager in overseeing daily operations and managing yard personnel.
  • Perform weighmaster duties for ferrous and nonferrous metals as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels efficiently.
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct minor maintenance inspections.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and facility operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.

This is a physically active, outdoor role where you’ll be exposed to various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold). Personal protective equipment is required, and occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary. Some travel using a personal vehicle may also be involved.
