Job summary

Woodward is hiring 2nd shift weekend Operations Technicians to support manufacturing and production. Hours are Friday–Sunday, 3:00pm–3:30am, with a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses, 401(k), stock contributions, and tuition reimbursement.

Level I/II responsibilities include following SOPs, monitoring processes, ensuring quality, maintaining clean workstations, and promoting safety and continuous improvement. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Follows documented procedures and SOPs to produce products.
• Identifies and resolves process or quality issues per standard processes.
• Maintains clean and organized workstations per 5S.
• Able to operate basic hand tools and equipment safely.
• Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Demonstrates strong time management to meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production lines following documented procedures.

Woodward is hiring 2nd shift weekend, Operations Technicians to support our manufacturing and production operations. The hours for these roles are Weekends, Friday – Sunday, 3:00pm – 3:30am.

Level I:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently produce products using specified tools and equipment. Flexes and supports the full product line in various processes/ capacities.

• Process: Observes and records key process variables to ensure consistency and quality in operations. Accurately logs daily operations and resolves or escalates concerns. Follows standard operating procedures.

• Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.

• Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

• Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.
