Job summary

LANXESS in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Regular employee to support and participate in the IOB unit operations, ensuring safety and environmental policies are followed. This role requires twelve-hour rotating day/night shifts and may include overtime.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical aptitude, and experience in operations. Forklift experience or willingness to learn is preferred. Participation in safety programs is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in operations preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot.
• Must be able to work twelve-hour rotating day/night and overtime as needed.
• Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools for plant activities).
• Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn.
• Participation in plant safety programs.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
