Job summary

Polygon US is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair, and operate temporary climate control equipment at customer sites in Boise and nearby areas. You will support services such as Temporary Climate Solutions and Emergency Drying Services while upholding the company values of integrity, excellence, and empathy.

The role requires basic electrical, HVAC, and mechanical skills, willingness to travel 1–3 weeks, and completion of mandatory training within six months, including OSHA 10 and

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of technical school or two years on-the-job experience in a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and basic mechanical skills. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to perform duties that are physical in nature.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel on short notice, sometimes for 1–3 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and demobilize temporary climate control equipment on project sites.
• Utilize downtime to maintain, and prepare equipment for upcoming projects.
• Complete Polygon Provided Training Requirements within the first 6 months including OSHA 10, DOT physical and certification, forklift and aerial lift certification, safety data sheets, hazard communication, trailer load securement, and electrical safety courses.

Role Summary:

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Service Technician is responsible for install, repair, and operation of equipment in support of the services Polygon US provides to its customers while demonstrating Polygon's values of Integrity , Excellence and Empathy . Services that are provided by Polygon include but are not limited to Temporary Climate Solutions and Emergency Drying Services.

Essential Job Functions:

• Set up, maintain, and demobilize temporary climate control equipment on project sites
• While not working on assigned projects, utilize down time to maintain, and prepare equipment for upcoming projects
• Completion of Polygon Provided Training Requirements within the first 6 months of employment including:
  • OSHA 10-hour training for general industry
  • DOT physical and certification
  • Fork-lift and aerial lift certification
  • GHS Understanding safety data sheets
  • Hazard communication for general industry
  • Trailer load securement and safety
  • Electrical safety courses as follows:
    • Electrical Safe Work Practices
    • Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout Tag out)
    • Arc Flash
    • Basic psychometrics
