We offer a continuum of care including Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, Transition Centers, and Community Release Centers for offenders and probation populations. Join us in changing lives at our Cocoa Bridge locations as an Operations Technician. This role plays a key part in our clients' success. We seek individuals with strong leadership skills, a passion for inspiring and helping others, and the ability to challenge them. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Supervising the inmate population at all times, including meal times, work periods, visitation, and furloughs.
  2. Ensuring the safety and welfare of inmates, staff, and visitors.
  3. Conducting daily inspections of housing areas.
  4. Reporting maintenance issues through weekly inspections.
  5. Monitoring inmate phone calls to employers on weekends.
  6. Collecting and recording inmate paychecks.
  7. Performing all necessary counts as per policy.
  8. Conducting intake procedures for new inmates.
  9. Attending staff meetings as requested.
  10. Maintaining all logs and documentation required.
  11. Signing inmates out for work and furloughs, with proper documentation.
  12. Ensuring inmates return all IDs, except inmate ID cards, after outside activities.
  13. Performing miscellaneous filing and record keeping.
  14. Clocking in and out using the company time and attendance system.
  15. Performing major job functions with or without accommodations.
  16. Attending all mandatory training sessions.
  17. Communicating effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  18. Reporting all workers' compensation injuries to supervisors or management.
  19. Reporting breaches of policy or ethics to supervisors or HR as necessary.
  20. Reporting unsafe conditions affecting clients, inmates, or staff immediately.
  21. Demonstrating organizational skills and good communication for potential promotions.
  22. Completing supervisory/team-building training for promotion to supervisory roles, including passing tests with at least 80%.
  23. Adhering to all policies and procedures relevant to this role.
  24. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience: Preferably three years in the criminal justice field; training available for applicable skills in related areas.

Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Additional: A favorable driving record is preferred based on the company's current insurance policy.
