Job summary

Flint Hills Resources in Rosemount, MN is seeking an Operations Technician to join our terminal team. You will handle product transfers, inspections, and safety testing while supporting maintenance and data logging.

We offer a 9/80 schedule, on‑site benefits, and competitive pay with on‑call rotation. Candidates should have a two‑year technical degree and maintenance experience; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to respond within approximately 45 minutes of Rosemount, MN.
• Must meet physical requirements and safety standards.
• Available for on‑call rotation including nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Product transfers, periodic inspections of tanks, valves, or piping, and testing of system safety devices and product quality control tasks.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting and pump/valve maintenance as trained.
• Coordinate deliveries/receipts of asphalt, refined fuels, liquid fertilizer and propane via truck and/or pipeline.
• Input data in work management systems and maintain lab/test records.
• Support the team on small projects.
• Be available for on‑call rotation as required.
