Compensation and Benefits

Woodward supports our members' wellbeing and regularly benchmarks with industry standards to offer an extensive Total Reward package for this position. Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data.

  • Level 1 Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73 (min) - $23.41 (midpoint) - $28.09 (max) + 15% shift differential and overtime
  • Level 2 Estimated hourly base pay: $20.92 (min) - $26.15 (midpoint) - $31.38 (max) + 15% shift differential and overtime
  • Shift Hours: Friday-Sunday, 3:00 pm - 3:00 am
  • All members are included in the annual cash bonus opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines or grinders to process and manufacture materials according to specifications.
  • Conduct tool offsets, changes, and edit programs as needed.
  • Complete process checks and inspections using precision measurement tools.
  • Process and machine materials per work instructions.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of small components, ensuring quality standards.
  • Execute testing and calibration, understanding pressure, flow, leaks, tolerances, and yield.
  • Perform special processes like heat treatment, bonding, brazing, plating, anodizing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
  • Engage in moderate physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Work in areas requiring safety precautions, such as protective gear.
  • Possibly pass vision examinations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in machining, assembly, or testing preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required.
  • For Level II: 2 years of manufacturing experience desired, knowledge of machines and tools, ability to accurately complete forms and reports.

This position involves handling regulated information under ITAR and EAR, requiring U.S. citizenship or eligible status.
